I was so excited to make this after reading Cathe Holden's tutorial I stayed up past midnight to do so. I think it turned out great, and love how the silk ribbon sets it off! Here's her blog, and her shop is worth a visit too!
I'm thinking of attaching a nest to an 18 guage wire as the 26 g is really too fine...good for the pearls and nest but not so much for a ring. I'll keep you posted!

I ALSO was instantly compelled to drop everything and make this when I googled 'little wire bird nests, and found Cathe Holden's blog!
Your nests are beautiful! So far, I've just made a ring, but I am so pleased to be able to wear it on the first day of Spring!
