New background color....

I am changing my background on Etsy to this beautiful aqua blue, which is nice and light and bright for spring. I love the raku, but sometimes I felt like it was too much for the jewelry I had pictured on it. Here's a couple of new shots from today, let me know what you think!

Another bird's nest ring......

Yes, I am nest obsessed....this little nest became a ring, this time made with silver non tarnish parawire and Swarovski pearls. They are amazingly sturdy, and comfortable!

Green Amethyst

I bought some gorgeous prasiolite and aquamarine rondelles from Beadalicioussupplies on Etsy, and I was very impressed with the quality-that has not always been the case for me, photos sometimes are much more impressive than the actual product. Here are a couple of necklaces I put together using some of them.

Bird's Nest Ring

Ah, the continuing saga of these bird's nests....Wendy Gibson of Craft Dinner created a ring, so I just had to try my hand at it too, and here is my result. It is so cute, and comfortable too! I made it with 24 gauge half hard sterling wire that was already oxidized, and it seems very sturdy. Those bird's know something, now don't they!

Bird's Nest Obsession....

Okay, until I get some brass wire in the right size this should be the last of these little guys for a while...but I love how this turned out with the contrast from these perfect little pearls....

Copper Bird's Nest Necklace

Well, couldn't resist making a bird's nest in copper, and I especially love how the photography gods smiled down on me for this one....

Bird's Nest Necklace

I was so excited to make this after reading Cathe Holden's tutorial I stayed up past midnight to do so. I think it turned out great, and love how the silk ribbon sets it off! Here's her blog, and her shop is worth a visit too!
