We are back from an Alaskan cruise on the Holland America ship the Amsterdam. We were able to leave from our home port of Seattle, making it very easy to leave town.  Special thanks to my friend Jeanie and her Mom Margaret for making it possible, and for sister Heidi for getting us to and from the correct terminal (hey, they moved it!).  It is so much fun to have a place to wear some jewelry. I must confess I love Alaskan cruises and I believe this was my 4th.  Any time I don't have to wear a bathing suit is just fine with me, though plenty of people were still enjoying the indoor pool and hot tubs. The scenery was spectacular, the ship gorgeous, the weather decent, and the food amazing (haven't stepped on the scale yet). We are home and having a tough time figuring out how to eat without 14 choices....

A trip to Roozengaarde.....

New View!

Ahhhh, the advantage of losing my wonderful trees, a view of the evening sky as the sun sets....

More wire wrapping, I find it very soothing to the soul, and such fun to be able to compose as you go!
More trees had to come down in the back yard, we now have no privacy but lots of light and the hope of growing some lawn!  Tug isn't too sure what to make of it, other than he found a new escape route today--and a new friend. I highly recommend the guys who cut the trees down--"Arbor Barber" and I highly recommend a collar imprinted with your phone number and the dog's name...

Wind damage, Tugs escape and return in style....

after he figured out that the tree that fell from one end of the fenced back yard to the other did damage the gate and leave an opening for someone to have an adventure early Saturday morning...

Snow inspired changes...

to a white background for my jewelry!

Snow, at last!

We finally got some winter weather here in Seattle, it was the perfect snow....
