Snowy weather creations...

Since we were homebound a bit more than usual I created a few new things--here's one of them!

Caught the light.....

But one late afternoon while I was awaiting my ride home from work the sun was setting and I captured some pretty amazing shots....

here's one!

Snow....

Well, the snow came and came and came and is finally now trying to depart-amazing! It was quite an interesting week, and I am ever so grateful we have a 4 wheel drive truck and someone who knows how to maneuver it in the snow! Thanks, Mike! It was a very quiet Christmas because of it...

We finally got some snow here, and it was so considerate of it to come on the weekend! I was able to get some really wonderful photos with it in the background of the beautiful new Swarovski pendant!

The Rain Forest....

We were able to spend Thanksgiving at the Quinault Lodge in the Olympic Forest--we had been hoping for good weather but apparently there is a reason it's called a rain forest.....we had a lovely time anyway!

Catching the light....

Now that the days have gotten shorter it is more difficult to catch the light for my photos. I had to stand out on the street, away from my trees in order to take this one.....

Happy anniversary...!

Mike and I celebrated our 34th anniversary by being tourists in Seattle. We started at Ivar's on Lake Union for a fabulous brunch, then off to the Pike Place Market.

The loop!

Don't look down!
Today Mike and I took a road trip to Whidbey Island (okay, there was a ferry boat ride in there too) then came home via Deception Pass. We stopped in Langley for some shopping, eating and sightseeing. It was a lovely, fun day!

4th of July, 2008

We had a delightful evening in Kingston where we went to view the fireworks this 4th of July. We met some wonderful folks on Len's boat. Here's proud Grandma Charlene, and Grandpa Len with the very delightful Muriel!
